Sesame and soy seared tuna

A quick dinner that gets some Asian flavoured fish in your diet.
Ingredients
  • 350g of tuna steak
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp of sesame seeds (when I tried to do a crust I used a lot more than this)
  • 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp of coriander, finely chopped
  • olive oil spray
Instructions
  1. Mix the soy sauce, chilli flakes, sesame seeds and sesame oil in a bowl large enough to hold the steak.
  2. Add the tuna and make sure it is coated with the sauce combination.
  3. Heat a grill pan over a medium high heat and spray with olive oil spray.
  4. Once the pan is hot, add the tuna and pour any leftover sauce over the tuna steak.
  5. Cook for about 4 minutes each side depending on how well done you like your tuna steak.
  6. Remove the tuna from the pan and garnish with the coriander.
